How do I know if I am eligible for a Mental Health Treatment Plan?

Your GP will assess your eligibility for  a Mental Health Treatment Plan to see if the plan is appropriate for you, given your health care needs, and circumstances.  Book an appointment with your GP to see if you are eligible for the plan.  You do not need a Mental Health Treatment Plan to see a clinical psychologist. however, without the plan, you will not be eligible for the Medicare rebate of $128.40 for each 50 minute consultation.
